Bring material you have permission to use
Only upload, edit, export, or publish material for which you have the necessary rights and permissions. This includes footage, music, voices, likenesses, and brand assets. Being able to view or download a video does not automatically grant permission to reuse it.
You keep your rights in the content you submit. The permission you give Clyps is limited to operating the service and following your sharing choices, as described in the Terms of service.
Do not use the service to harm or deceive
Do not use Clyps to break the law, violate another person’s rights, harass, exploit, deceive, or endanger people. Do not misrepresent an edited output as authentic when that would mislead others.
A short excerpt can change a statement’s apparent meaning if a question, qualification, or correction is removed. Review the surrounding source before publishing, and make the intended context clear. AI suggestions do not remove your responsibility for the output.
Protect accounts and infrastructure
Do not distribute malware or interfere with accounts, networks, rate limits, or security controls. Do not attempt to access another workspace’s private material or use an account outside the permissions granted to you.
Keep your credentials and devices secure. Workspace owners control membership and roles; members should use the permissions assigned to them. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to do so.
Review before publication
Check transcripts, cuts, framing, and captions before relying on an output. AI and media processing can make mistakes. Correcting a caption error should preserve what the speaker actually said rather than replace it with a stronger or misleading statement.
Private uploads do not automatically become public posts. When you choose a publishing or sharing action, review the visibility and the associated title, caption, and profile information before completing it.

Clyps may restrict or remove content when needed to respond to reports, enforce its terms, protect the service, or comply with law. This page summarizes the existing rules and does not replace the Terms of service. Read those terms for the full agreement and the limits that applicable law places on it.
