Connections and supported workflows
See how Clyps fits into your recording and publishing process, and distinguish a file workflow from a direct integration.

What connects directly to Clyps?
Clyps uses account authentication and billing services to operate the product. The clipping workflow starts with an uploaded video and ends with an exported file. Destination-specific tool pages explain how to prepare that file; they do not imply a direct connection to every named platform.
| Service or task | Relationship | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube URL import | Coming soon | Upload your source video file until URL import is available |
| Google and Apple | Account authentication where offered | Use the provider’s sign-in flow |
| Stripe | Billing | Checkout and subscription management |
| YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook | Export destination | Upload the edited MP4 using the destination’s publishing tools |
| Webinar, podcast, and livestream platforms | Source recording workflow | Export your recording there, then upload the file to Clyps |
| Third-party API automation | Not promised by these web workflows | Confirm a requirement separately before planning an integration |
How do I use a recording from another platform?
Obtain the original video file from your recording workflow and upload it to Clyps. Keep the highest-quality source available and use material you have permission to republish. A file exported from a webinar platform is different from an OAuth connection that gives Clyps access to that account.
For long recordings, prepare manageable source files and review the spoken context of each selected clip. Clyps does not gain permission to use someone else’s video simply because it appears on a public website.
How do I publish the result elsewhere?
Choose the aspect ratio, finish the captions, and export an MP4. Open the file to verify the result, then upload it through the intended destination. Write the post title and description for the specific excerpt rather than reusing the full recording’s introduction.
Review the platform’s current publishing requirements and upload preview. Interface controls can overlap text near an edge, and a widescreen demonstration may lose important information in a vertical crop.
Which companies process service data?
Service providers are different from customer-facing integrations. The Privacy policy describes Cloudflare, Hetzner, PlanetScale, Postmark, Google and Apple, and Stripe in their relevant roles. A provider used to operate Clyps is not necessarily a tool that you connect or control through the editor.
For a question about a required integration, contact Clyps with the source, destination, and action you need. This page does not promise an unshipped feature or a particular delivery timeline.
