Delete your Clyps account

Download any exports you want to keep before requesting deletion. Review workspace ownership and shared content so you understand what other members still need. Team owners must transfer ownership or delete their team first, as described in the Privacy policy.

Review your subscription through billing settings and the Stripe customer portal. Deleting a local video, clearing your browser, or uninstalling an app is not the same as managing a subscription or deleting a cloud account.

Sign in to the account you want to remove and use Account settings to request deletion of the cloud account. Follow the status reported by Clyps rather than treating a button click or a closed window as proof of completion.

An accepted deletion request remains pending until Clyps reports completion. If the service says deletion is unavailable, no deletion has started. Keep the reported status when asking about a request.

Shared workspace history may remain for other members. Backups, security logs, billing records, and records needed for legal obligations may remain after other account data is removed. The Privacy policy describes these boundaries and does not promise a fixed deletion period.

A cloud-account deletion does not delete local project files or exported videos from your device. Remove those files using your device’s own controls when you no longer want them.

Use the sign-in and password-reset flow first when the issue is a forgotten email password. A Google or Apple account may require recovery through that provider. Do not send passwords, login codes, or private media links to an unverified contact.

Deletion is a process involving the account and its data, not a browser setting. Clearing cookies may remove the current local session, but it does not instruct Clyps to remove the cloud account.
