Test the interview you keep putting off
Take a 20-minute interview containing one useful answer about a customer problem. Review the suggested moments, then start the chosen clip early enough to name the problem. Keep the example that explains the answer. A punchy sentence with its explanation removed is a worse edit, even if it is shorter.
Check a guest name in the captions, watch a speaker change, and try both a vertical crop and a wider frame. Add a Pexels cutaway only when it helps explain the speech. Compare the finished MP4 with the output you would normally deliver.
Bring the video, keep the original project
Clyps does not import a CapCut project or preserve its individual layers. Export your edited video, then upload that file. Keep the original project if you may need to change the episode later.
Use the source file without already-burned-in captions when you want to apply a fresh caption style. If the words are part of the picture, changing the transcript cannot remove them. Keep the original recording or editing project for changes that need the full episode.
Test a finished clip on Free
Clyps Free includes 30 source minutes, 10 finished minutes, and three exports per month. Free exports carry a Clyps watermark and free media expires after seven days. A 20-minute source and three one-minute clips fit those limits before other monthly usage.

- No. Clyps is for selecting and finishing excerpts of uploaded recordings. It does not replace a general editor for assembling a film, combining camera tracks, or building custom motion graphics.
- Can I change the moments Clyps chooses?
- Yes. Open the suggestion and adjust its start and end, framing, and captions before exporting. A score helps organize review; it does not predict views.
- Does Clyps publish to my social accounts?
- Clyps exports an MP4 for you to upload. It does not currently schedule or directly publish to external social platforms.
