Use Clyps to turn client recordings into reviewed short clips. Work from a clear brief, proof brand terms, and prepare consistent video deliverables.

Define acceptance before production

Agree on the audience, intended placements, topics to avoid, and what counts as a complete clip. Get the correct names and brand terminology before caption review. These inputs are more useful than asking for an arbitrary number of “viral” clips from a recording with only a few strong ideas.

Review candidates against the brief

Use suggested titles and reasons to choose which passages deserve attention. Check each excerpt for missing context and client-sensitive claims. Apply the framing and caption treatment after selection, then preview the result at the delivery size.

Hand over files with clear context

Name exports by topic and destination so the client can identify the right version. Watch each downloaded file and keep approval notes in your existing system. Clyps supplies the editing workflow here; this page does not imply a white-label portal, automated approvals, or agency API.

Worked example: turning a client brief into review decisions

A client asks for clips from a product interview aimed at new buyers. Translate that into specific questions: what problem does the product address, what does the setup involve, and what objection does the guest answer? Choose a passage for each question and reject internal updates that do not serve the brief. Check product terminology and any quoted customer results before styling. Export destination-specific versions with clear file names and provide the source topic with each delivery. Keep the client’s approval record in your usual process. This makes review about whether each clip fulfills the agreed job, not whether the client likes an unexplained batch of suggestions.

Do not confuse an editing workflow with a service guarantee

Processing allowances, source quality, and the client’s review cycle all affect delivery. Check the current plan and inspect the recording before committing to a schedule or count. This landing page does not imply white-label licensing, unlimited processing, or a service-level agreement. Establish those requirements separately when they matter to an engagement.

Before you export

  • The brief identifies the audience and accepted delivery format.
  • Claims and brand language are reviewed before finishing.
  • Exports have clear topic and destination labels.
  • Client approval remains recorded in the established process.

Questions

Video clipping for agencies questions

Can I promise a fixed result before seeing the footage?
Base the scope on usable source material and a clear delivery definition. A clip count alone does not establish quality or fit.
Where should client approvals happen?
Use your established review and approval process around the exported videos. An integrated external approval workflow is not promised on this page.
